Biography

Late Elder Godwin Okeoghene Uti Emuobe, born on August 5th, 1952, lived a life distinguished by faith, diligence, and love for God and humanity. He was a very hardworking, liberal, joyful, and generous man, whose life reflected genuine devotion to the Lord.

He was a committed Christian and was ordained as an Elder at Restoration Light Church, Warri, where he faithfully served God’s people with humility, wisdom, and a heart of service. His love for the Lord shaped his character and guided his leadership both in church and in everyday life.

Professionally, Elder Emuobe was disciplined and dependable, serving in various roles across different organizations and locations. He worked as a businessman in Kano, Survey Officer in Enwhen, Storekeeper at Welco, Safety Officer at Nisco, Storekeeper in Obite, Material Controller at Flower Mill, Safety Officer at Python Enerhen, and Storekeeper at Natony. In every position, he was respected for his integrity, commitment, and strong work ethic.

To many, he was more than a professional or church elder. He was a brother, father, uncle, leader, grandfather, friend, colleague, and mentor. He was a devoted husband, a loving father to seven children, and a proud grandfather to four grandchildren. His home and relationships were marked by love, joy, generosity, and godly counsel.

Late Elder Godwin Okeoghene Uti Emuobe will be fondly remembered for his cheerful spirit, servant leadership, and unwavering love for God. Though he has gone to be with the Lord, his legacy of faith, hard work, and kindness lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.
